Humane Society

For me, its very difficult to volunteer at animal shelters for numerous reasons. One is that I love dogs way to much and seeing them lack love and toys breaks my heart. Two, I end up falling in love. I fell in love with this puppy I named Diesel one year ago. I purchased him at the Humane Society of Tampa bay Specifically because there were so many animals in need of a good home, love, and attention. I wouldn't change Diesel for the world and he's a healthy beautiful red nose pit-bull with a loving and fun personality. Next time you, or someone you know is considering adopting a pet either it be a dog, cat, or even guinea pig, consider visiting the shelters first where there are already animals there waiting to find your love.

 

For those of you that don't know, here is a little info about Miss Earth

Miss Earth is one of the three largest pageants in the world. Annually, Miss Earth, the new protector of the planet is crowned in the Philippians. She spends a year of rein doing various environmental activities, volunteering for non profits and Charity's, being the official spokeswoman for mother nature, and as well as traveling he world spreading her message and platform. As Miss Earth Florida, I will be competing for Miss Earth United States 2013 this September in Hawaii. I'm super excited to be competing this year in Hawaii for a bunch of reasons. Of course Hawaii is one of the most beautiful places on the planet, and I haven't had the pleasure yet to travel somewhere tropical like Hawaii other than the Bahamas.
